Yes, it's just seven days to go now, and am surrounded by boxes now in my flat trying to decide what to keep, what to send to charity shop and what to bin. It's taking far too long as stopping a reading everything and reminising. Decided to keep my old LPs, all the boys school bits. Found my old school reports (I was a little goody, goody [who talked a little too much!]), also found my first exercise books from school. Some priceless bits of my Mum - party games books, PIT, Railway Riot and her diabolo. Poignant to see her writing again on so many bits and her party plans are awesome!! Newspaper clip below is from 1973, Surrey County Herald - now where did I get that desire to teach from I wonder?! Lots of photos that were in frames from years gone by now all packed up... don't my lads look cute!
Ha, ha, just found this card from the boys - can't remember what they'd done but clearly they were in the dog house. Definitely in the 'keep' box! But who would have thought two boys so cute would ever be naughty!! Jono is going to have a go at packing my rucksack today.... that is after he's reduced the amount of toiletries, shoes and sudoko puzzle books that I had planned to take........back to packing
