One of nature's great sights...wildebeest migration!

Tuesday 14th September

Diving with white tip reef sharks today, and turtles. Great to be back underwater again! Was going to brave the hotel buffet this evening but then heard the band…oh dear, they’re crucifying some classics…Lara’s theme from Dr Zhivago (sorry have no idea how to spell it), I do it my way (well they are definitely doing that), so resorted again to room service, and about to cram ipod headphones into ears to drown it out as early night needed…..

Because, decided to throw caution to the wind, especially after paying so much for my knickers, the price of jetting off to the Maasai tomorrow didn’t seem quite so bad… so off for a couple of days to hopefully see wildebeest migration, and maybe some cats…

Thursday 16th September
How lucky was I? The wildebeest hadn’t crossed for a week or so, and today they duly obliged. We must have seen tens of thousands cross – it was an incredible sight. Mind you, my camera seemed tiny compared to the nature ‘paparazzi’ that were there, including National Geographic. And saw cheetah kill a wildebeest, lions, hyenas, elephants…well just look at the photos.

Was trying to upload some of my video clips but given up...the photos will have to do!

Looking forward now, and slightly apprehensive about starting my ‘work’ on Saturday, but sure once I get going I will be OK…so ‘holiday’ week just about over.
